Author/Illustrator Phil Padwe is an American artist originally from New York City, currently residing in London, England (along with his wife and cats). He has a lot of tattoos...
Padwe (sounds like pad-way) has been spreading his message of “Teaching Tattoo Tolerance” for nearly 10 years now: by speaking as an author and illustrator at local elementary schools in his hometown of New York CIty; by doing readings at various Barnes & Noble book stores and libraries across America; and most recently by taking part in panel discussions as an invited speaker at Sienna University in upstate New York. He has represented Mommy Has Tattoos at tattoo conventions across the USA, in mass media, and has been featured in both the national and international tattoo press.
Padwe is a graduate of the writing program at SUNY Purchase, and is a self taught artist and illustrator. He credits museums for making him the artist he is today.
